The Duchess of Cambridge is a well-known outfit repeater, but it seems she’s a secret vintage lover, too. During a tour of the Caribbean earlier this year, the royal sported a red Yves Saint Laurent jacket that she’s had since her university days—proving she’s long had an eye for archival fashion.
It wasn’t the first time that Kate had sported vintage, either. The Duchess has been spotted with a ’30s Josef clutch, embellished with ivory beading and delicate Point de Beauvais embroidery, on several occasions, including at Wimbledon in 2019 and the G7 Summit in 2021. She also wore a vintage Oscar de La Renta polka-dot dress during a visit to Ireland in 2020.
